VSSU sponsors various national level sports and cultural activities e.g. singing, dancing and state level drama competition.

 
 

Housing

 VSSU contributed Rs.43,000 towards the provision of shelter which is the basic need of a human being. We assisted in the repair or construction of houses for 22 families from the local community. Most of the work is based on partial support and co-financing of the beneficiary.
 
 

Group Tour

 

 

Tourism

 VSSU is able to provide annual tour programme for the aged, needy, community people in parental respect to visit some near by holy places like Dakhineswar, Belur Math and Kalighat etc. In this way the rural people get the opportunity to see the city. 85 poor old people have a chance to see the holy places every year.


 The Eco-tourism project will develop a 12 acre land area near Kolkata into an environmentally friendly tourist attraction. In consultation with external eco-tourism experts, VSSU will implement its vision of sustainable development as an ecological system fully integrated with the economic, social and infrastructure initiatives. We will eco-villages and meeting areas that provide accommodation and other facilities for visitors who come to appreciate the natural scenery near the world famous Sunderbans to enjoy a variety of available water sports or to meet with friends or colleagues in a quiet and attractive place. The project will employ 100 families in construction and revenues generated by the project will be funneled back into further community development.

 
 

Orphans Child

50 helpless Children have been accommodated in this house and plan to take 100 children.
